Spent a little over a week in Maine on Frye Island.  Did no bring home the bacon.  Played on the beach with the kids.  Kids loved trying to surprise frogs on the golf course. Did a bunch of swimming most mornings in Sebago Lake. Met my wife's cousin's 7 month old do by boy for the first time! My father-in-law spends 6 months each year on the Island... Red Sox played the Mariners in Seattle... The Bar Harbor Grand is another nice hotel with yesterday’s appeal and today’s modern conveniences. Check for info. One other accommodating hotel is the Acadia Inn which is located about one mile from the heart of Bar Harbor. The Acadia Inn is just 500 yards away from the bring which runs to Nova Scotia – Monday thru Wednesday. Views from the other half.... Having grown up in Maine until the age of 18 when I joined the Navy. I had forgotten about the absolute beauty and tranquility of my home town in the pass time.
