Is trip/vacation insurance worth it?

We have CSR booked with a PIN I received. Our price - 1545 - is for standard view and our park hoppers and includes trip insurance. Now that the new codes have go out. I could book a CSR water view room for $18 less but this would not consider the trip insurance. My question is whether the insurance is worth it or if we would be happier with a nice view on vacation. Has anyone here ever used the trip insurance?

I personally haven't used trip insurance because by the time I have made reservations. I am very unlikely to change them. But then again when are you travelling? If it happens to be during hurricane toughen when changes to your travel plans may be beyond your control you may desire to consider it.
