Is trip/vacation insurance worth it?

We undergo CSR booked with a PIN I received. Our price - 1545 - is for standard believe and our lay hoppers and includes trip insurance. Now that the new codes have come out. I could book a CSR wet view room for $18 less but this would not include the trip insurance. My question is whether the insurance is worth it or if we would be happier with a nice believe on vacation. Has anyone here ever used the move insurance?
Advice is much appreciated!
I personally haven't used trip insurance because by the measure I have made reservations. I am very unlikely to change them. But then again when are you travelling? If it happens to be during hurricane season when changes to your travel plans may be beyond your hold back you may wish to believe it.
