Another area to consider might be Virginia Beach but likely not for some of the time of year you mentioned. you can find the land front resorts on II. We have traded our non-DVC timeshare for Hilton Head several times. Depending on the time of year you can find several trades. Especially if you are flexible with your dates. If you know someone who owns a non-DVC resort maybe you could do a trade through them. We have even traded our non-DVC into the Disney apply at HIlton continue. It was great.
