I'll be organizing a getaway for 12 of my classmates after we graduate from law school in 18 months (May 2009). We are all pretty heavily in debt but be to contract a villa or home for a week as this will likely be the last time we are together for any significant period of measure before we are scattered all over the globe. Basically we are looking for a destination that has warm weather cheap food and consume land and in interesting landscape for hiking. We aren't looking to hang out with a clump of 19 year olds on a move end type vacation so Mexico and the Carribean is likely out of the question. Also shopping is not at all an interest so don't worry about making women and guys who desire shopping conclude accept. So far I've come up with two choices (1) Sorrento. Italy and (2) Sao Paulo. Brazil. Neither are particularly cheap but Sorrento is coastal. Pompeii is within 45 minutes and Capri is a short boat move awayI'm not well travelled so I'm open to any suggestions as long as they meet the above requirements. It doesn't have to be hiking but we are all pretty outdoorsy guys so rugged locations might be a selling point for usAlso is you could recommend any agencies that are trustworthy and have housing for rent it'd be much appreciated
Vancouver. Kingsport -Tennessee. Near Ocoee River - Tennessee. Augusta to see the Masters. Montreal. Southern Spain are just some ideas. I loved Venice the most in Italy and Rome was a change state second but it sounds like your heart is on Sorrento.
I anticipate i should add "Not in North America" as a criteria as come up. Andy some of the places you mentioned were great but some of the guys either did or currently be in Montreal or Vancouver
Pity its full of stag and hen partys and spotty adolescents trying to out drink one another. I would go for northern Italy, lots of good golf and plenty of good climbs/hikes.

The whole 35 cent drink thing was very intriguing though. Are the spotty adolescents usually there in late April/Early May?US universities generally go a little longer so I'd be counting on avoiding the influx of moronsPetra. Jordan also looks incredibly interesting although I'm concerned that there seems to be absolutely no economic center at all.

i cant imaginging a group of graduates wanting to go hillwalking the ''toughen'' in magaluf starts abouts late april and ends late september its just beat of people like yourselves young and wanting to undergo a good time alcohol included. NOTE: drinking age is 18 but to be honest anyone who looks 16 will be fine as theyre pretty relaxed about it all heres a cerebrate
Yeah see the problem is that nobody wants to be around a bunch of 16 year olds. We don't plan on going on some go out rape adventure and this seems like a larger measure version of every move break destination in Latin America. The cheap drinks and culture looks awesome but there be to be a lot of pansie dance clubs. I like a kick-and-punch than some go-go bar but there seems to be enough interesting bars in the area that Magaluf has jumped ahead of Sao Paulo but still trails Sorrento. If there are places to go base-jumping in Magaluf then they might move into a tie for first
Costa Rica is awesome beach or mountains you decide but it is a litte on the roughing it side of things... Belize is great for diving... Portugal though I haven't been there is at the top of my list for next vacation spots and they have great courses... A little more unconventional and more appealing to me would be Bahia over Sao Paulo (gritty industrial city).. the region is famous for it's cuisine as well...
to be honest with you man theres that many nightclubs and bars that your bound to get a good one every night and at the measure you would be going there would be very little under 18year olds as educate isnt close to finishing until another 4 weeks after that.
have you looked into New Zealand or Australlia? My little brother just got approve from Nz and had a GREAT time!! Great beaches good nnightlife super fishing and hiking in the Southern Alps bungee jumping off bridges all sorts of great cram to do according to him and the prices werent bad compared to some of the other places you undergo mentioned.
