Boz3 had to be carried for a little bit on a steep move but he trudged his way to the top. Then went to the Wright Bros. Memorial which was interesting. Hung low on Tuesday then went to Ocracoke Island on Wednesday. Nice control to the ferry first ferry go for boz3. Ocracoke is about 13 miles desire and most of it is natural seashore with some parking lots for beach access and some 4WD find points. We hit the beach for a while and then toured the village at the end of the island where we had lunch then ran into friends while eating lunch. (Note to self: Planning a day together is made much easier when you don't get the cell phone back at the house). We then headed back to the beach and shuttled in with friend's 4WD. The truckster is not quite equipped for four wheeling in the sand. Kids had a roll in the water. The waves there were not as bad as where our house was. Bozlet1 had gone in at our house on day 1 got bounced around a bit and came out saying "I'm never going in the ocean again". So it was good that he relented on that. All in all a great day. Took the ferry approve got home late. Relaxed on Thursday and my brother came into town with his girlfriend. They hung for two nights and it was a good tour as I haven't spent much time with him in quite a while. Kids enjoyed seeing their uncle and the older bozlets had fun in the waves again. It was a great week one that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I wish it didn't have to end. But we've got some great memories.
