Amazing. thats what our wedding was. Lissy was amazing and Angela was amazing. the ceremonies were perfect and the photo's are the best! I will write more once we get our internet back and I have some free time. we moved into our new house the day before we left to go to Aruba so it's a mess and we don't have our internet hooked up yet.. so more info will be coming.. Angela sent me this link so everyone can view a few of our photo'sI want to share them with the world! Enjoy!
Hello everyone. now that we are finally settled into our new house and we got the internet finally I have time to give more details about our trip. We arrived the day before the wedding. Stayed at the Holiday Inn. not impressed this time so I think we will try someplace else next time. They were very slow checking in and doing all sorts of construction but the bar was very fun at night (even though I couldn't drink) and the seabreeze restaurant was very good. The wedding itself was amazing. Most brides only get ready once. I got to do it twice and experience two different ceremonies. The civil ceremony was early in the morning and totally private, very laid back nothing at all that I expected. We took many great photo's at the town hall and the building itself is beautiful. We took the afternoon to relax and get ready for the night. The beachside ceremony was beautiful. Lissy did a wonderful job of organizing this and making it picture perfect and Angela really did make it picture perfect. I cherish the photo's and people are still raving about them. Even though it was cloudy and there wasn't really a sunset. Angela managed to capture the colors of the Island and the photo's are wonderful. The rev. Gibson was amazing the words he said really fit the day perfectly and he seriously made me break my composure and I was a balling mess by the end of the ceremony (I can blame pregnancy hormones for that but I can't deny that I sit here crying as I type this) We had dinner afterwards at Moomba Beach Bar and Grill after and the owner served as our personal waiter for the evening. He was so nice and didn't rush us at all. The food was amazing and the people who were also dining there were amazing. We ended up breaking apart a few of our flower arrangements (obviously couldn't take them all back on the plane) and giving out the roses to little girls and other women who were having dinner there. They were all so happy to receive the flowers and it made us feel good to make them feel good. We ended our evening with a nice walk down the beach and then back to the hotel which was also having a big wedding at the time. The rest of the trip was spent sightseeing shopping snorkeling eating and enjoying the beach. We spent Saturday touring the Island with Jeeps. We hit the Lighthouse chapel. Natural Bridge and Natural Pool. The last time my husband and I were there the Natural Bridge hadn't fallen so it was so wierd to see it the way it is now and remember walking over that the last time. I now have a before and after picture. THe lighthouse was so cool we didn't get to see that last time and the Natural Pool was something else. If you don't know where you are going your pretty much screwed. We got lost and ended up meeting up with other people who were lost and finally after a long detour we found it. wow what a hike to get there. My poor mom was so tired after those stairs. We took some snorkleing gear with us and saw some amazing fish. My husband and his brother were going along the rocks and actually saw an eel which was not happy to be seeing them. After that we headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. The next day we hit another snorkeling spot that the Jolly Pirate stops at and we saw so many fish crabs and some other fish I can't remember the names. Spent a good 3 hours there snorkeling and enjoying the sun. We shopped a lot ate a lot and hung out on the beach for the rest of the trip. It was amazing and I can't wait to take this baby there someday so it can see where it's first official trip was!
